Question 1

Do Peterbald cats need clothes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Peterbald cats are born with little to no coat and have almost no insulating ability. They lose body heat rapidly and are genuinely uncomfortable in air-conditioned homes, cooler weather, and overnight. For most Peterbalds, clothing is a practical necessity.

Question 2

What type of clothing is best for a Peterbald cat?

Accepted Answer

Peterbalds suit soft stretch garments that accommodate their lean, long body. A fitted onesie or pyjama set is ideal for year-round indoor wear. For cooler months, a jacket or sweater provides real warmth. For warmer months, a romper or dress gives light coverage without overheating.

Question 3

How do I measure my Peterbald for clothes?

Accepted Answer

Measure chest girth (around the widest part of the chest), neck girth (around the base of the neck), and back length (from the base of the neck to the base of the tail). Peterbalds tend to have a lean, long body with a narrower chest than Sphynx cats. Our sizing guide includes a step-by-step video and a sizing calculator.

Question 4

Do Peterbald cats have sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Peterbald cats have exposed skin that is sensitive to rough fabrics, scratchy seams, and tight elastic. We use soft stretch knits and jersey fabrics that sit gently against bare skin. All nudiecats garments are machine washable on a gentle cycle.

Question 5

Do you ship Peterbald cat clothes to all of Australia?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We ship Australia-wide, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart, Darwin, and regional areas. Free shipping on orders over $99.
