Question 1

What is a cat top?

Accepted Answer

A cat top is a lightweight upper-body garment — think tees, thin pullovers and cotton basics. They provide a small amount of coverage without the warmth of a full sweater, making them ideal for warmer days or cats who only need a light layer.

Question 2

Which cats benefit most from wearing a top?

Accepted Answer

Sphynx, Devon Rex, Cornish Rex and Peterbald cats benefit most. Their minimal coat means even a thin layer makes a difference to comfort, especially outdoors or in air-conditioned environments.

Question 3

How do I measure my cat for a top?

Accepted Answer

Measure your cat's back length, chest girth and neck girth. Our sizing guide has step-by-step instructions for every breed.

Question 4

Do you ship to all of Australia?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we ship to all Australian states and territories. Free shipping on orders over $99 AUD.

Question 5

What is the difference between a cat top and a cat sweater?

Accepted Answer

A cat top is a lightweight, unstructured upper-body garment — think a thin cotton tee or basic pullover. A cat sweater is thicker and designed specifically for warmth, usually knitted or fleece-lined. Tops are ideal for mild days, air-conditioned rooms, or cats who find a full sweater too warm.

Question 6

Are cat tee shirts the same as cat tops?

Accepted Answer

Yes — cat tee shirts are a type of cat top. The category includes any lightweight upper-body garment: tees, thin pullovers, basic cotton tops, and casual knits. At nudiecats, all tops in this category are designed to be easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and suitable for everyday indoor use.
